Ed Lozama, Volunteer Ambassador for the Promotion of South of Haiti

Ed Lozama is a popular radio personality in both Florida and Haiti's media industry and now a Vonlunteer Ambassador. He began his career in radio during his teenage years and has since then grown into one of the most respected radio broadcaster in his homeland and in the United States. Born and raised in Haiti, he studied broadcasting in the state of Chicago and settled in Miami for a few years, making a name for himself in Florida's radio industry. He then worked as a journalist to Voice of America but then decided to go back to Haiti to continue pursuing radio broadcasting there.

Ed was then immediately given the position as Program and Production Manager for the Haitian radio station Vision 2000. He gained both local and international fame because of his radio programs "After Hours" and "Bonjour Miami" which aired in Haiti and Florida. Lozama then founded Planet Radio and is currently known for his morning show "Ed Lozama Live" aired in several radio stations in the two regions that he considers home.

Ed Lozama has gained not only fame from his avid listeners but also caught the attention of the government of Haiti. On June 2012, he was named by the Ministry of Tourism as a Volunteer Ambassador for the promotion of South Haiti's tourism, along with fellow radio personalities' Valery Numa and Kesner Pharel. He was highly-praised by Regional Director Karine Conde for being a self-proclaimed ambassador for Haiti for so many years. Lozama has also been the Director of Communication under President Martelly's administration.
