How many people are going to follow this order from Moise Jean Charles?

Moise Jean Charles wants the population to move to the next stage of the protest. According to the Senator of North, people should stop paying taxes to the government and he wants everyone to engage in public Civil disobedience.

The opposition wants to schedule the next major protest in front of the U.S. embassy in Port-au-Prince. According to Moise Jean-Charles, the American government is responsible for Michel Martelly

I guess he assumes that Michel Martelly no longer has any power in Haiti.

Here comes Moise Jean Charles on Cap-Haitian Incident

In the neighborhood where I grew up in Haiti, there was someone just like Senateur Moise Jean Charles, One who seems to know everything and something about everyone.

We would call them" "Moun Tripot"

Moise Jean-Charles is quite unique in this area. The Senator of North Department seems to know everything. So you can imagine that he would have an answer for the incident that took place recently where School children from two popular schools in the city of Cap-Haitian were the object of attacks.

Supporters broke into courtroom as Andre Michel ordered transfer to state penitentiary

This is the latest on the case of Attorney Andre Michel as the day of October 23, 2013 will likely be remembered as one of the hottest day for the Martelly-Lamorthe government.

As Attorney Andre Michel was awaiting hearing where the judge was preparing to serve him an order to be transferred to the state penitentiary, supporters broke into the courtroom. It was reported that legislator Arnel Belizaire and other supporters drove Andre Michel to the Haitian Parliament for security purpose.

"Kouri Nan Potoprins"

Several supporters shut down several blocks in the streets of Port-au-Prince by putting up barricades and burning tires. The Haitian government later that day issued a statement condemning the removal of Andre Michel from the courthouse.

Haiti National Radio Television (RTNH) Experienced Technical difficulties as Moise Jean-Charles intervenes

Was this a pure case coincidence, luck for the Government, or was it intentional?

Following the sudden interruption of the retransmission several Senators went on publicly to denounce the action of Haiti National Radio Television (RTNH), wanting RTNH to terminate its retransmission altogether. Senate President Dieuseul Simon Deras solved the issue by proposing to conduct an investigation about the incident.

Until a current investigation determines the nature of the technical failure presumably experienced by the National Radio Television (RTNH) during an intervention by Senator Moïse Jean-Charles at the meeting convened by the Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe, people on the media have been forming different opinions.

Deputy Gracia Delva Dragged Into Haiti Kidnapping Case by Senator Moise Jean Charles

Another official has been linked to a kidnapping case in Haiti, where two children of the chief of a major bank in the country were abducted. Senator Jean-Charles Mose confirmed that Deputy Gracia Delva was involved in the case. Mose claimed that investigations showed that Delva himself was the one who tried to help suspects Jean Ricot Pierre Val, Altidol Tius, and Carlos Badel Saint-Fort flee the country. Reports said Delva let the suspects use his car to cross the border to get to Santiago a northern town in the Dominican Republic.

Moise Jean-Charles - Michel Martelly per diem expenses $20,000 a day fo travel

President Michel Martelly's administration has been faced with a series of controversies recently. One of the most recent issues is an allegation made by a Haitian senator from the country's North department, Moise Jean-Charles, regarding the President's lavish travel expenses.

Earlier this month, Senator Jean-Charles gave a speech in a Lavalas family party's rally in Brooklyn, New York and an interview to a Haitian newspaper, claiming that Martelly, his family and his staff were wrongly and excessively spending Haiti's money when traveling to other countries that amounted to millions of dollars. This included expensive aircraft rentals, vehicle buying, and unreasonably big withdrawals from the country's central bank for questionable purposes.

American Embassy, USA Passport PUSA0439112330 not for Haitian president Michel Martelly

The ball is now in the court of Senator Moise Jean Charles as the American embassy in Haiti has released a letter putting doubt in the allegation of that Haitian President Michel Martelly is an American citizen. The US Embassy in Port-au-Prince denied the claim that USA Passport number PUSA0439112330 belongs to the Haitian president Michel Martelly.

The US Embassy, however did not say whether or not Michel Martelly is an American citizen.

On the other hand, Senator Moise Jean Charles who has been quiet for the past few weeks came out after the release of the letter from the US embassy to defend his claim. According to the the Haitian Senator, the letter from the US embassy did not help the president only support his claim that President Michel Martelly is American.

President Michel Martelly has American and Italian Citizenship, So What !

The most important news coming out of Haiti for he past few weeks has been allegation that president Michel Martelly is not only Haitian. According to Senator Moise Jean Charles, The Haitian President has been lying about his citizenship. Moise told everyone that he has proof that our beloved President Martelly holds both American and Italian citizenship and consequently not qualified to be the President of Haiti.

Senator Joseph Lambert confirmed yesterday that two members of the Government cabinet so far have been found to be of foreign nationality. The Commission responsible to investigate the matter plans to travel outside of the country to Washington DC as well as to many other countries to verify the nationality of President Michel Martelly.
