I think it stsrted much earlier than 1960. I was born in the fifties and by the time I was a todler there was around six or less stations in Port au princelike RADIO HAITI RADIO PORT AU PRINCE CARAIBES, MBC(MAGLOIR BROADCASTING CIRCUIT),RADIO DIFFUSION HAITIENNE, RADIO CACIQUE.
