A Peacekeeper from MINUSTHA killed a Haitian citizen

On election day, during a confrontation between the UN force, MINUSTHA, was involved in a confrontation in the region of Artibonitite.

It was reported that a group of armed Haitian men came into a polling station in an attempt to disturb the voting process.

During the confrontation, the Haitian citizen was wounded and transported to the local hospital.

He was pronounced dead before he could receive appropriate care
