US and Korean investor to create 20,000 jobs in garment in Caracol

Let me say it Kim Woong Ki, the chairman of Korea's leading manufacturer and exporter of textiles and clothing, will invest $78 million in Haiti to build a textile industry in the region of Caracol in Haiti

For those who are not familiar wthe the north, Caracol is located between the cities of Cap-Haitien and Ouanaminthe.

I remember that the same caracol was at one point in the past the recipient of other projects.

However, in recent years, no major activities has taken place in the region

Sae-A is a major supplier to some of the biggest names in U.S. retail industry, such as Target, Wal-Mart and Kohl's and GAP. For the first time ever, the fabric will also be made in Haiti
