Ecole Elie Dubois in Port-au-Prince

Ecole Elie Dubois School was established back in 1913 and it serves around 250 students. The school was started by Community of the Daughters of Mary. The curriculum of the school consists of crafts, sewing, embroidery, French, science and grammar. Courses for teacher training were included in 1920s but they went through a radical change during 1979's Education Reform. Before the devastating earthquake of 2010, the school accepted 25-30 new students each year who were enrolled either in professional or basic curricula and the total number of students increased to 214 before the earthquake.
As far as fees are concerned, the Ecole Elie Dubois charges 1500-2500 gourdes a year depending on the courses enrolled for. Classes are held regularly from 7 AM to 3 PM with 1 hour break starting at 12 noon and ending at 1 PM. The school has master plans for new constructions throughout the campus to accommodate new labs, dormitories etc. Sustainable strategies are being developed and implemented that will use locally available facilities and natural resources.

Loaning my 1945 Port au Prince, Haiti, needlework sampler to an Exhibit of Schoolgirls Samplers at
Pioneer Museum, Fredericksburg, TX. This sampler was a gift to me by a woman who lived in Haiti before WW II. She told me the sampler was worked at a school ran by nuns from Belgium to teach girls needlework and education.
Can you tell me if this would have been the Ecole Elie Dubois in Port-au-Prince?
