Michel Martelly not on the right track, according to Monsignor Louis Kebreau

Monsignor Louis Kebreau is not satisfied of the socio-economic and political situation in Haiti and has observed a degradation lately.

The Archbishop of Cap-Haitian, said that President Michel Martelly is not on the right track. According to Monsignor Louis Kebreau, this degradation reached such a level, so that the country is like a patient who needs both a good psychoanalyst and a good therapist to help him find his inner balance in order to achieve a new vision for it out of this straitjacket in which it is completely immersed.

The Archbishop referred to the promises made by Candidate Michel Martelly and the reality today. Great changes have been promised by the president, however he observes that after two years in office, the government has not delivered as expected. As he stated: the Haitian people only get bogged down in misery.

If you remember, this is the same Monsignor Louis Kebreau who advocated in the past that President Michel Martelly should put Sweet Micky pants to govern the country. This evoke quite a discussion among Haitians at the time as Bishop Kébreau was obviously not satisfied on the way his friend Michel Martelly was running the country.

Born in Jeremie, Haiti in 1938, Monsignor Louis Kebreau earned a master's degree in pastoral counseling from Saint Paul University in Ottawa in 1973. He was ordained Salesian priest in Sherbrooke, Canada in 1974. In 1986, Pope John Paul II appointed Msgr. Kébreau auxiliary bishop of Port-au-Prince and bishop of Hinche in 1998. In 2008, he was named Archbishop of Cap-Haïtien by Pope Benedict XVI.
