Jean Monestime was is a former North Miami City Councilman.
What made this victory for Monestime so sweet, because Dorrin Rolle had a lot more money than he did. Dorrin Rolle spent $329,785 for his campaign, compared to $74,845 spent by Monestime.
Jean was able to rally the Haitian community, the African-American, and Hispanic-American voters in the district to gain that victory.
Jean Monestime obtained his MBA from the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business. He also holds a Bachelor degree in Finance from Florida International University
This election demonstrated once again the power of unity.
Just think for a moment, if we were a united force, we could have had our first elected official representing the Haitian community in Washington D.C.
"Union Fait La Force"
The change has arrived my friend.

HOPE HE WILL PROFITABLE FOR THE HAITIAN COMMUNITY ALSO IN THAT
I think every Haitian should get together for a common cause.
Because Haiti could do better if everyone is
thats could be a great idea when the Haitians well know what they do really want, to compare
wiv the Election in Haiti this month.
cause we do need a Leader to represent all the way,,,,...not a money accounter...
and Monestime have to take care about his job to not be a TonTon Constant
