The real cost to the family who becomes victim of crime in Haiti

The emotional factor in a crime is sometime unbearable. But this is usually not the only thing the family who is the victim of a crime in Haiti has to deal with.
Has anyone thought about the sudden cost that the family has to deal with, such as funeral and burial. In some cases, families helping the children cope with the crime.
According to the report from University of Michigan:
The murder rate for the major cities in Haiti increased from 60.9 to 76.2 per 100,000 people between February and July 2012.
The costs of a physical or sexual assault on a member of the faimily reach close to 20 percent on average of the family's annual income.
The report also indicated that after a family member becomes a victim, children in the home are being sent to live with other families as Restavec or are removed from home permanently.
In many cases the family takes loans to pay for funeral and burial which cost on average $5,000. The lander usually charge anywhere from 50 to 150 percent in interest
Police bribary is also common in order to investigate the crime or to get things done
