Supporters broke into courtroom as Andre Michel ordered transfer to state penitentiary

This is the latest on the case of Attorney Andre Michel as the day of October 23, 2013 will likely be remembered as one of the hottest day for the Martelly-Lamorthe government.

As Attorney Andre Michel was awaiting hearing where the judge was preparing to serve him an order to be transferred to the state penitentiary, supporters broke into the courtroom. It was reported that legislator Arnel Belizaire and other supporters drove Andre Michel to the Haitian Parliament for security purpose.

Several supporters shut down several blocks in the streets of Port-au-Prince by putting up barricades and burning tires. The Haitian government later that day issued a statement condemning the removal of Andre Michel from the courthouse.

Haiti National Radio Television (RTNH) Experienced Technical difficulties as Moise Jean-Charles intervenes

Was this a pure case coincidence, luck for the Government, or was it intentional?

Following the sudden interruption of the retransmission several Senators went on publicly to denounce the action of Haiti National Radio Television (RTNH), wanting RTNH to terminate its retransmission altogether. Senate President Dieuseul Simon Deras solved the issue by proposing to conduct an investigation about the incident.

Until a current investigation determines the nature of the technical failure presumably experienced by the National Radio Television (RTNH) during an intervention by Senator Moïse Jean-Charles at the meeting convened by the Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe, people on the media have been forming different opinions.

Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe responded to Senate convocation, How did he do?

After 3 convocations not respected by Haitian Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe, it finally took place yesterday, June 4th, 2013. The Prime Minister spent over 11 hours in the Senate answering questions from a number of Senators. He was threatened with a possible interpellation if he did not respond to this convocation.

According to comments from many Senators as well as many responses from social medias and radios so far, Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe did not convince them with his responses yesterday. This includes explanations given on the use of 5 billion Gourdes disbursed during the period of emergency last year, projects in various departments, road construction, Airport construction as well as respect for the Haitian Constitution.

Joseph Lambert, Youri Latortue and Yvon Buissereth want to return, Moise Jean Charles

The story of the citizenship of Michel Martelly continues to occupy front page in the news. The latest I heard today is from Senator Moise Jean Charles who stated that the three senators who gave their resignation last week want to comeback to the panel. Senators Joseph Lambert, Youri Latortue and Yvon Buissereth want to return according to Moise jena Charles. The Senator from North Department said that the three Haitian senators miscalculated the outcome and thought that the investigation would have been closed with the presentation of these passports by President Michel Martelly.

American Embassy, USA Passport PUSA0439112330 not for Haitian president Michel Martelly

The ball is now in the court of Senator Moise Jean Charles as the American embassy in Haiti has released a letter putting doubt in the allegation of that Haitian President Michel Martelly is an American citizen. The US Embassy in Port-au-Prince denied the claim that USA Passport number PUSA0439112330 belongs to the Haitian president Michel Martelly.

The US Embassy, however did not say whether or not Michel Martelly is an American citizen.

On the other hand, Senator Moise Jean Charles who has been quiet for the past few weeks came out after the release of the letter from the US embassy to defend his claim. According to the the Haitian Senator, the letter from the US embassy did not help the president only support his claim that President Michel Martelly is American.

President Michel Martelly has American and Italian Citizenship, So What !

The most important news coming out of Haiti for he past few weeks has been allegation that president Michel Martelly is not only Haitian. According to Senator Moise Jean Charles, The Haitian President has been lying about his citizenship. Moise told everyone that he has proof that our beloved President Martelly holds both American and Italian citizenship and consequently not qualified to be the President of Haiti.

Senator Joseph Lambert confirmed yesterday that two members of the Government cabinet so far have been found to be of foreign nationality. The Commission responsible to investigate the matter plans to travel outside of the country to Washington DC as well as to many other countries to verify the nationality of President Michel Martelly.

Senator Moise Jean-Charles has not filed documents regarding citizenship of President Michel Martell

It has been reported that that Senator Moise Jean-Charles who accused President Michel Martelly and some of his cabinet members for holding foreign nationalities has not filed any documents to the senate commission investigating the nationality of President Michel Martelly and members of the Haitian government.

According to Radio Signal FM, Buissereth who is a member of the investigation commission, indicated that Senator Moise Jean-Charles only sent a letter to the commission in which he recorded information that would have two passports thatPresident Michel Martelly holds.

On Monday, January 16, 2012, Senator Moïse Jean-Charles announced that he filed documents proving that President Michel Martelly is a U.S. and Italian citizen.

President Michel Martelly holds citizenship in foreign countries, Senator Moise Jean-Charles

May the real Haitian stand up. According to Senator Moise Jean-Charles President Michel Martelly has renounced his Haitian citizenship and is not qualified to be president.

In this article, I am including the picture of a passport that was circulating on the web recently about a passport from the president. It is clearly a fake document

The declaration of the Haitian Senator did not stop at the Head of state. The senate commission that investigated the nationalities of the government found out that the government has many members who are currently foreign citizens. Beside President Michel Michel Martelly, Senator Moise Jean-Charles also listed the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Laurent Lamothe, the Minister of Tourism Stephanie Balmir Villedrouin and the Secretary of State for the Interior, Georges Racine.

Senator Moise Jean Charles said Haitian President Michel Martelly is a Liar

The Haitian institutions are under assault. Senator Moise Jean Charles, in his presentation at the Haitian Senate stated that "President Michel Martelly is a Liar.

"Liar, liar, pants on fire"

Wow!

Senator Moise Jean Charles was referring to the result of the commission that was investigating the illegal arrest of Deputy Arnel Belizaire. According to Senator Jean Charles, based on the report President Michel Martelly is deeply involved in the issue. That President Michel Martelly who is his own President is a liar. The President said that he is not involved "Ni De Pres, Ni de Loin" in affair Belizaire.
