outgoing Minister of Justice, Michel Brunache suggested to Mario Andresol that he leave his position as chief of Police in an "Honorable manner".

This looks more and more like a set up to me!

It was suggested to the Police Chief that he used the excuse of his inability to execute an order given by the Minister of Justice last week which is to take action against the ex Haitian militaries and leave his position.

The Haitian Police that is under equipped, under armed and with a small force responsible to protect a population of close to 10 Millions was given this additional task to fight former Haitian militaries with many new and young members. These Military force seem to be well equipped both militarily and in term of equipment and are better prepared to remove the Haitian Police from their own headquarter instead.

Not only Mr. Mario Andresol categorically refused to leave as suggested, he also questioned whether the order by Michel Brunache as well as the case of Demobilized military force is part of an overall pan to push him out of the door.

Guess what else?

Mario Andresol never received the order to remove ex Haitian militaries. He only heard about it on the radio like everyone else.

That is not all.

Mario Andresol challenged the authority of Minister of Justice, Michel Brunache. According to sources, he recalled taht Mr. Brunache is on resigned ministerial status. On the other hand, he instead has a constitutional mandate that is not yet come to an end. His three year term as Chief of Haitian Police expires August 18, 2012.

Should we just call Haiti an Emergency Room (ER)?

Is this the beginning of yet another crisis in the Haitian Emergency Room (ER)
