Lenord Fortune, AKA Azor of Racine Mapou de Azor is dead

The Racine artist Azor has been known for bringing the Haitian culture to life in his music videos. Lenord Fortune has been very careful in presentation the videos for his Racine Mapou band. It is obvious in the costume changes from multiple takes. He also used young beautiful and talented Haitian dancers to accompany to the actual singers.

The music of Racine Mapou de Azor, one more beautiful than the next, usually address the problems often faced by members of the Haitian society.

Before forming Racine Mapou de Azor, Lenord Fortune played in a variety of musical groups. Would you believe that he was a musician of the group Scorpio. At One point, Azor was also with SS One, Bakoulou group, Racine Kanga de Wawa

Lenord Fortune, AKA Azor, died at Bernard Mevs Hospital in Haiti on July 16, 2011. He was 46 years old
