Re: Obama Extended Temporary Protected Status (TPS) For Haitians Until...

I am not sure how much this TPS status help Haitians, specially Haitian children.

They can go to school, but they are not eligible for public benefits/no Medicaid, no food stamps).

I guess the people who create this status did not think children will need to eat or might need medical care until the condition at home is improved.

And again, maybe I should be grateful for some of the people that benefits from getting TPS.
