Carline Pierre Bartley, Haitian Singer

Carline Pierre Bartley was born and raised in Port-au-Prince, Haiti where she attended school and founded her interest in the music industry. She started singing at a very tender age where she sang about the various issues she had in mind. She at first sang in her local church where she was so good at it that she eventually decided to sing gospel songs. She mostly sings about the various things that inspire here such as God and the various issues about her country.

Pierre Bartley has done some patriotic songs where she sings on her love for her country and where she expresses all her emotions especially when it comes to the various issues affecting the country. She is married and with 2 children whom she is raising in Haiti and whom she hopes of growing up with the best tender care that she so much adores.

Charles Andre Dorismond AKA Bigga Haitian, reggae musician

Charles Andre Dorismond, aka Bigga Haitian, was born on 4th November, 1964 and acquired fame as a Haitian-American entertainer. He rose in the 1990s and he is considered to be the first Haitian artist to enter the Jamaican reggae scene. He overcame national and cultural barriers and created the way for a new genre of Haitian music.

Dorismond's stage name is Bigga Haitian. He was born to a family of musicians. His own father led The Webert Sicot Group who introduced Kompa, Haitian dance music. Charles Andre Dorismond lived in his native city Port-au-Prince for 8 years before leaving to New York. He grew up in the midst of a Jamaican community Flatbush in Brooklyn.

Arly Lariviere to be honored by County Commissioner Jean Monestime

Arly Lariviere is American- Haitian musician. He loved music since his hay days, but this passion for music came from his father and Tropicana D'Haiti. This passion developed greatly making him come up with Nu look group. He played the role of a conductor of Nu look group for 11 years. Lariviere was a talented musician who enjoyed Haitian music.

He has made an attempt to resign from Nu look group due to some circumstances, but this became impossible due to his love for his fans. His fans claimed to lose morale of Nu look group if he resigned, and his resignation would affect the members of Nu look and their dependants. Due to his value for his fans Arly Lariviere chose to remain the group for the time being.

Ayenn Starks, Haitian musician raised in the US

Ayenn Starks is a musician born in New York in the US but by Haitian parents. He was raised in the US where he grew up to love and acquire an interest in the music industry. He also has a lot of interest in various instruments such as the piano and the keyboard where he has produced songs with these instruments and where he has clearly shown how much talent he has.

There a couple of songs he has done all about love where Ayenn Starks has shown how easy he can come up with something so captivating to the listeners and how easy he can combine the various different versions of Haitian music styles with those of the French to come up with something so wonderful and lovely. He is thus one exceptionally talented musician with a great future ahead.

Bemol Telfort to be honored by County commissioner Jean Monestime

Bemol Telfort was born and bred in Port Au Prince, Haiti. He was song writer, singer, guitarist, bassist, conga player, composer arranger and bandleader. Growing up in Haiti where there are many artists made him admire singing. At the age of six he started playing Conga which he did till the age of 8 where he used body percussion. Since he had no money to buy a guitar, he made himself one at the age of 10 years.

His guitar was unique, though it lacked some scales like c major. Telfort attempted to come up with a guitar with c major scale. To achieve this he bought various guitar books that he came across. To earn a living he played conga, breathing percussion instrument and his own made guitar.

Andre "Dadou" Pasquet to be honored by County Commissioner Jean Monestime

Andre "Dadou" Pasquet is Haitian artist. He was guitarist and musician. His music talent was inborn as it ran in the family. He played in the group known as Tabou Combo Radio Superstar.

He was a talented guitarist who played the guitar so passionately and was admired by everyone. He left Tabou Combo group and formed a band group known as Magnum Band. The band sound was unique because it was a mixture of Haitian roots, jazz, pop and soul filled Creole music. This band has made him to be honored for valuing Haitian culture in his music.

Albert Pascal, Haitian singer of Les Ambassadeurs

He is a great Haitian singer of the famous group Les Ambassadeurs. Albert Pascal was born and raised in Haiti where he began his career and where he established himself to the music industry. There is little known about him but the facts about his music abilities and achievements are intact and have for the last couple of years been easily identified as being great achievements.

Albert Pascal has made it possible for many in the country to get noticed in the kind of abilities he has had and the manner in which he is able to easily make a good composition. Most of his fans love him for the manner in which he sings his music which makes them just want to listen on without stopping. It is his talent to entertain people a gift which he really uses well and to his advantage.

Alex Abellard, Haitian keyboard player guitar player

He is a Haitian by origin musician, keyboard player and a very talented guitar player. Alex Abellard was born in Haiti where he was raised up and grew to nurture his talent. He has over the years earned the reputation of being a great musician who has achieved much more than anyone would ever have thought. Among his many achievements he has been able to easily come up with a recording company where he is the sole owner and investor. He recruits young talented singers and artists and enables them to nurture and perfect their talent to the level of big professional artists popular all over the world.

Jocelyne Labylle Biography

Born on January 7, 1973, in Saint Claude on the West Indian Island of Guadeloupe, Jocelyn Labylle was attracted to the world of show business at an early age. Her dream of sequins and gloss was largely fostered by her mother's success as a dancer in Karabina, the most famous folklore dance group in Guadeloupe. In 1992 Labylle joined the group Elodie; in 1994 she joined Zouk Orchestra. She appeared on the covers of all their albums. In 2000, Jocelyn Labylle returned to this studio to record her second album. She released the single "J'ai depose les clefs," which means I left my keys. The single was followed by the album Ma Petite Lumiere (My little light). The album features "Parle-moid'elle" and was written by Harry Diboula.

Harmonik of Nickenson Prud'homme Biography

Many may not know it but this a band of successful musicians who originate from Haiti. Under the leadership of Nickenson Prud'homme, the Haitian Kompa band [[http://www.haitimega.com/Music Dance-Harmonik performing for Candidate Michel Martelly on March 2, 2011 at Gwen Margolis

They're Kompa musicians. Members of the group range between 22 and 33 years of age.

They performed "Hallelujah" for their audition. They all currently live in Miami, Florida, but are originally from Haiti. They advanced past the first round. We hope they take the title and bring Haiti in the limelight and prove Haiti has talent. Harmonik is a great band. The lead singer used to be in K-Dans (Haitian band). Nickenson Prud'homme is a big producer too who helps them in their videos. He's produced a bunch of Zouk and Konpa hits.
