Skal Labissiere drafted by the Sacramento Kings
Here is another Haitian who makes us proud. Skal Labissière who is a former basketball player of Collège Canado Haïtien was picked on Thursday, June 23 to become a member of the Sacramento Kings team. Skal Labissière currently stands at 6'11" and weighs 225 pounds. He averaged 6.6 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks per game. He demonstrates his strongest strength in offense. There were some questions raised prior to his selection on whether or not Labissière would be a good fit for the Sacramento Kings team or whether or not he would be selected in the draft.
June 28, the new date for National Assembly to decide on Privert
A new date has been set aside by Haiti National Assembly to decide on the fate and future of President Jocelerme Privert. The date is Tuesday, June 28, 2016. After several days of negotiation the Haitian lawmakers have finally decide to hold the National Assembly in an attempt to solve the current crisis. We did receive confirmation from the first secretary of the Chamber of Deputies that it will in fact take place. One more important question that is probably on the mind of most people: will it actually take place? Will the actors for a change act like responsible people?
General Panic as Haitian Parliament hit with stones and bottles
The session that was supposed to take place at the Haitian parliament to determine the future of the provisional president Jocelerme Privert once again did not take place and once again the political crisis continues. Although the politic of "empty chair" continues with some, the pro Privert crowd who were protesting in the streets yesterday did not make things any easier at the Haitian Parliament. Some protesters attempted to penetrate into the institution, forcing both employees and parliamentarians to ran for shelter. These protesters threw stones and bottles towards the parliament building before the police later resumed control of the situation

on't tell me that you are not superstitious or you don't believe on certain common events or occurrences are connected to future events. How many people do believe that if you walk around with one shoe on, you're calling one of your parents to the grave. How about by crawling on your knees or walking on your knees your mother will die? Admit it, you will not sweep the floor at night fearing your mother will die. Last but not least, if you walk with one shoes, your mother will soon die.

Eight Haitian teens arrested for raping 16 year old girl in Fort Lauderdale
You are looking at the picture of three Haitian teenagers who have been accused for raping a 16 year old girl in a vacant home in fort Lauderdale. According to the Police, the girl told them that on May 14, the girl met her boyfriend James Dorelus, then several friends of her boyfriend arrived. She tried to get away but two other teens grabbed her and sexually assaulted her. While the girl continued to struggle, two more teens came into the room and over the next several hours, she was forced to engage in sexual acts with eight of them.
Youri Latortue admitted PHTK rigged elections
The Senator of Ayiti An Asyon (AAA) Youri Latortue, former adviser to President Michel Martelly admitted that PHTK had rigged the elections of August 9 and October 25, 2015
"We believe that President Jocelerme Privert is rigging the coming elections in favor a a specific group, the same way PHTK was doing".
What do you think for someone who was close adviser to president Michel Martelly to admit something like this?
American Red Cross pocketed close to $125 million of Haiti earthquake fund
According to a report released Thursday by Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley, The American Red Cross Spent almost $125 million or 25 Percent of donated fund after the 2010 Haiti earthquake on its own internal expenses. This is far more than the organization had previously disclosed. Red Cross had reported in the past that only 9 percent of donated money were used to cover international expenses. In 2010, the American Red Cross issued a check for $4.3 million to its sister organization the International Federation of the Red Cross. The purpose is disaster preparedness.
Singer, actor and producer Jean-Claude Guillaume is dead
Since December 2015, the social media has been announcing his death following the deterioration of his health. However Jean-Claude Guillaume has been fighting until Wednesday, June 15, 2016 when he finally passed away at New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton, Boston, Massachusetts.
Jean-Claude Guillaume had made peace with his creator before his death. His most recent music album ha the gospel hit song called "Temwanyaj, produced to testify to the greatness of God. The Haitian artist never lost hope as he was suffering. He testified that he made the song to say thank you to God and show him gratitude for curing him form his cancer.
Four G8 members will not run in next Presidential election
The G8 no longer exist; however, it continues to make news. It is conformed that four of the members for sure will not participate in the next presidential election. According to Samuel Madistin in an interview with Valery Numa on Vision 2000, Mario Andresol, Eric Jean Baptiste, Sauveur Pierre Étienne and Steven Benoit will not participate in the next Presidential election in Haiti. He continued to say that Jean-Henry Céant and himself (Samuel Madistin) have not made a decision yet. The two candidate who will for sure participate in the next election are Jude Celestin and Moise Jean Charles
The G8 is now history as Jean-Henry Ceant left
The G8 can no longer exist as one of the member left. This is the case when Jean-Henry Céant calls it quit. In a letter addressed to his colleagues of G8 former presidential candidate under the banner of Renmen Ayiti, Jean-Henry Céant made the announcement that he was forced to leave the G8. As a result, he has dissociated himself from the group
