Charles Corvsky Dieujuste is Haitian fashion designer. He had grown up with the passion for art. He once told his mother that he wanted to be an artist but his mother did not encourage him at that age because she wanted him to study. Despite the discouragement, his passion grew day by day. Dieujuste was greatly influenced by his aunt who was a tailor.

He decided to do a unique thing from what his family did. Though he did not attend any school to study fine art as he would have liked, he was able to design fashion. He worked up in a textile company and their home sewing productions. These two molded him into a fashion designer.

The Haitian American Professionals Coalition (HAPC) has welcomed Professor Diana Bien-Aime as its new executive director. She is a Speech Communications teacher at Miami Dade College and was chosen to head the HAPC due to her knowledge, passion, and leadership skills. HAPC chairman Attorney Richard Champagne said the coalition is very fortunate that it will be led by someone like her. He expressed confidence that she will be able to carry out initiatives that will fulfill HAPC's mission.

Diana Bien-Aime couldn't hide her excitement over joining HAPC. She said she is looking forward to working with individuals who are determined, passionate and committed to creating a better community. She revealed HAPC's plans to encourage member commitment and participation in goal setting. HAPC will focus on economic development and strategic goal planning in order to fulfill its mission to provide policy advocacy, interventions, partnerships and civic engagement to the community.

Talks have been circulating that former two-time Haiti President Jean Bertand Aristide is planning to run for Senate. According to reports, he, who was ousted from the presidency twice, is aiming for the seat in the Ouest Department. If the reports turn out to be true, he may run against other notable nominees such as Haitian National Police Chief Mario Andresol and singer Jacques Sauveur.
The reports of his Senate plans did not sit well with critics. As a matter of fact, it is seen as Jean Bertrand Aristide's strategy to escape a possible prosecution of justice. In a commentary, Radio Metropole host Nancy Roc said that once elected, he will have parliamentary immunity, which can help him avoid prosecution. Roc also reminded listeners on the dispute between Aristide and current President Michel Martelly. Many people think that Martelly had a hand on both coups against the former president.
Since the beginning of time, no Haitian president has run for Senate after his term. Should Jean Bertrand Aristide push through with the candidacy and win, he would probably make history. Reports about his plans came out despite Aristide's previous comments that he does not have plans to enter politics again. Aristide has been out of the public eye since he returned to the country last year. Instead of involving himself in politics, he simply focused his time and energy on operating his schools and universities.
Jean Hector Anacasis is the incumbent senator of the Ouest Department. He is running once again, along with Marie Denise Claude, Claudy Gassant, and Jean Mary Claude Germain.

In the Haitian politics Levaillant Louis Jeune started taking some crucial movements in the recent time. A lot has become a debate about the next Prime Minister of Haiti. The initial two weeks of May 2012, have been very decisive and also filled with lot of political controversies. The disputes for the selection of the new Prime Minister have been ratified. Laurent Lamothe is the new Prime Minister and Levaillant Louis Jeune, the president of the Lower House, presented a formal letter to announce his General Policy.

A lot of turbulence was seen in the house for the selection of the new Prime Minister of Haiti. The voting process was not simple and there was a lot of fuss and cry. Few Senators also walked down in protest and did not cast their votes. But, the majority of the house favored Laurent Lamothe and with 60 percent of votes in favor, he is chosen the next Prime Minister of Haiti.

Louis Jodel Chamblain was born either in 1953 or 1954. He is a military leader who has won many medals in the army though to some he is a fraudulent war leader. In 1987, he allegedly headed government death squads that interrupted a planned election that would have marked the transition to civilian rule. In all, 34 voters were killed, and the election was cancelled.

Civilian elections did take place in 1990, in which Jean-Bertrand Aristide was elected, but a military coup in which Louis Jodel Chamblain was involved overthrew Aristide in 1991. He has undergone military training in the United States. Immediately following the coup, his reputation for brutality grew further as he is reported to have been responsible for thousands of murders of Aristide followers. He formed a paramilitary organization, the Front for the Advancement and Progress of Haiti (FRAPH), in 1993 as tensions grew between supporters of Aristide's reinstatement and supporters of the military government.

A Haitian origin singer born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on 26 April 1977, Marc Antoine is one of the few artists that have had a talent in singing and had to concentrate in it so as to get to where they are today.
