Josue Pierre Louis not allowed to leave Haiti

Wow, Mr. Josue Pierre-Louis has to stay in Haiti whether he likes it or not.

According to information obtained by Haiti Observer, the President of the Permanent Electoral Council, Mr. Josue Pierre-Louis, who has been accused by Danielle Marie Bernardin for raping her is not allowed to leave the country.

This decision has been taken by Haitian justice to make sure that he's available to to respond to his accusations.

Josue Pierre-Louis who is the current President of the Permanent Electoral Council and former Justice Minister in Haiti was accused recently by Danielle Marie Bernardin for raping her. Mr. Pierre-Louis has maintained his innocence, stating that he never raped Danielle Marie Bernardin

Shooting in School in Connecticut, close to 20 people, at least 10 children among the dead

This did not take place in Haiti.

There has been a mass killing at an elementary school in Connecticut, in the US. The number is between 20 and 28 people were killed. This took place at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

This is terrible. So much for the right to own fire arms in the United States.

Just imagine for a moment. We are talking about children between the ages of 5 and 7.

Haitian Journalist Patrick Alexis Victim of Bandit attacks in Dominican Republic

The Dominican Republic is becoming more dangerous for Haitian tourists. Patrick Alexis is the latest victim in this regard. Traveling to the Dominican Republic, the journalist Patrick Alexis was assaulted by several bandits on Wednesday, December 12, 2012.

It was reported that bandits attacked Patrick Alexis with stones and he received injuries in the face and other parts of his body. He received medical care in a local hospital in the Dominican republic and currently is reported to be fine.

Patrick Alexis has not been the only Haitian to become victim of cime in the Dominican republic recently. Beside those not reported to the press, Recently Paul Evans (K-Plim), Jean Tolbert Alexis, Minister Daniel Torment, as well as Minister of Haitians Living Abroad (MHAVE), Daniel Supplice, have been Victims of Bandit attacks in the Dominican Republic.

Justice for Rooldine Lindor, Haitian student assassinated in Dominican Republic

The verdict was pronounced on the killer of Haitian College student, Rooldine Lindor. Eddy Sterlin Mendoza was convicted to spend 30 years in Dominican prison for the assassination of Rooldine Lindor. The Police officer involved did not receive a sentense.

In addition, it was determined by the court that Student Rooldine Lindor was not raped by her bandit.

As you may remember, Rooldine Lindor was 20 year old, College Student who was murdered in an apartment in the Dominican Republic on July 12, 2011. The report indicated that she was looking for an apartment when her assailants murdered her.

Jules Edouard Moscoso of Moscoso Children kidnapped by Brandt Kidnapping network, Assassinated

On Saturday December 8, 2012, businessman Jules Edouard Moscoso who is close relative of the Moscoso children who were kidnapped about two Months ago and received their freedom after the intervention of the U.S government was assassinated in the city of Leogane. He was found shot dead in his business, next to a UN base, in Léogane Sunday. Some of the people interviewed declared to have heard gun fires during that night.

The 57 year old Jules Edouard Moscoso is the natural cousin of Robert Moscosso, the father of the two young Moscosso children kidnapped by the Clifford Brandt network. As you may know, Clifford Brandt, a son of one of Haiti's most prominent families, was arrested on charges of kidnapping. It is largely suspected that the killing of Jules Edouard Moscoso is not unrelated to the kidnapping of the Moscoso children and the arrest of Clifford Brandt.

Ronald Gerard Demeza negotiated payment with family of Danielle Marie Bernadin

This is the latest I have heard so far on the Rape case of former Justice Minister Josue Pierre Louis and Danielle Marie Bernadin.

We have learned that the person who went and attempted to negotiate with the family of the rape victim is Ronald Gerard Demeza. According to "LeMatinHaiti", Ronald Gerard Demeza presented himself as a lawyer. However, he completely denied that he was hired by Mr. Josué Pierre-Louis to work a settlement with Danielle Marie Bernadin's family.

Ronald Gerard Demeza admitted that by a request coming from the father of the victim he had met with him to see how they could resolve the issue privately

Scandal in Michel Martelly Inner Circle as Josue Pierre Louis is accused of raping his secretary

The Chairman of the Board election, Me Joshua Pierre-Louis is hit with with a major accusation. He is accused of raping his secretary. Mr. Josué Pierre Louis is the current head of the Permanent Electoral Council (CEP)

According to Haiti Press Network, a complaint was filed in the Civil Court prosecutor of Port-au-Prince by one of the secretaries of Josué Pierre Louis who said that she was assaulted and raped by her supervisor.

It was also reported the the alleged rape victim is in the process of being evaluated medical after the abuse to confirm that the rape actually took place. Other important players are actually getting involved in the case such as the organizations defending the rights of women and especially RNDDH.

Haiti Government Replies to Jacques Roche Accusations

A formal denial from the government was delivered by Ady Jean Gardy, Minister of Communication in Port-au-Prince that in the year 2005, Michel "Sweet Micky" Martelly, a musician and others had kidnapped, tortured and then killed Jacques Roche, a poet and journalist.

Accusations Made By Francoise Annick Joseph
Francoise Annick Joseph, the Artibonite/Inite Senator made the accusations. He stated that he had just recalled the news that in Haiti everyone knows about this. He states that Michel Martelly was a personality involved in the case in which Jacques Roche; a journalist was killed after being handcuffed, kidnapped, tortured and shot dead on 10th July 2005 in Port-au-Prince.

Assassination of Faculty of Law and Economics student Damael d'Haiti

The Haiti government has vowed to give justice to the death of Damael d'Haiti, a student at the Faculty of Law and Economics who were reportedly assassinated on Saturday.

The authorities have yet to clarify what really happened but allegations were made that a police officer, who is also a student at the university, killed Damael. According to reports, Damael and police officer Maceus Pierre Paul had a conflict during a party organized by the university for new students. This might have led to the death of the 24-year-old but the National Police Haiti (PNH) are still investigating the incident.

Operation Gason pa kanpe by Government Commissioner Me Lucmane Delile

In a bid to keep Haiti communities safe and secure, the authorities are now going after criminals and suspicious individuals. Commissioner of the Government Me Lucmane Delile launched the "Gason Pa Kanpe" campaign that is meant to catch criminals and stop them from inciting fear among the public. The campaign started strong, with more than 25 arrests in just a couple of days. Every kind of criminals, including kidnappers and drug dealers, are getting targeted by the campaign.

Lucmane Delile said the campaign"Gason Pa Kanpe" is just beginning, as they plan to go after criminals even harder. He shared that officials started rounding out criminals in the capital of Port-au-Prince, where they questioned and investigated a number of suspects. Officials are also setting their sights on various areas such as banks and neighborhoods with high crime rates. They are determined to make people safe in going to banks because there were instances wherein criminals went after their victims while the latter are doing bank transactions.
