Can someone talk to Judge Lamarre Belizaire for me please? He needs to know that nobody is paying attention to his orders on Jean Bertrand Aristide. Not the Haiti Police Chief, not the Police, not the demonstrators in front of Aristide's home in Tabarre, not members of Lavalas Political Party who come and go in his home, not Jean Bertrand Aristide himself.

Let's make some senses out of this. Our beloved Judge Lamarre Belizaire issued so far a total of 5 Court Orders on the Former Haitian President and the all went straight to the garbage.

When you think things are settled in the case of Jean Bertrand Aristide, something unexpected arises. Former President Jean Bertrand Aristide is expected o be in court tomorrow, Friday October 10, 2014, whether he wants it or not. According to HCNN, Judge Lamarre Belizaire just issued an extraction order to the Police Chief Godson Orelus to make certain that the Haitian Police bring Mr. Aristide on that date.

The Order of extraction has for objective to ensure that the police brings the former Haitian President in front of him on Friday, at 10:00 am.

If anyone had hoped to spend a quiet day in Port-au-Prince on September 30, that was not the case. On this important date which marks the anniversary of a 1991 military coup that ousted former Haitian president Jean Bertrand Aristide, the country's Capital was anything but peaceful.

Former Haitian President Jean Bertrand Aristide is under the control of Haitian government. He has been put on House Arrest for failing to appear at a court hearing recently. So far, to the surprise of many in the population, there has not been any problem.

Jean Bertrand Aristide, the one many thought was untouchable, is actually in Jail.

What happened? Has Aristide lost his capacity to rally the mass? Has his popularity been eroded?

In the meantime, it seems that the Government of Michel Martelly has been gaining ground with he opposition. Suddenly, critic of the government is willing to negotiate with Martelly. Former First Lady Mirlande Manigat would not mind seating with the President to iron out their differences. Moise Jean Charles, although still not willing to meet the President, stated that he will abide by any agreement made with his group, as long as it is with respect of the law.

Civil court judge Raymond Jean Michel reported the former Haitian president, Jean-Bertrand Aristide, has three major accusations against him. The charges are money laundering, corruption and illicit drug trafficking.

He has been banned by judge Lamarre Belizaire from leaving Haiti as the probe is going on. Beside Jean Bertrand Aristide, several key people in his administrations also can't leave the country

According to the report, this investigation covers a long period of time, starting in 2005. It has been said that during the Government of Jean Bertrand Aristide, millions of dollars had been misappropriated from Public fund in Haiti.

According to a news just published on bernama.com, the Haitian press freedom watchdog, SOS Journalistes, has confirmed that Argentine authorities have arrested Mr. Markington Philippe in Argentine.

Markington Philippe was a close ally of former President Jean Bertrand Aristide.

This arresst in Agentine came following an Investigation where Judge Ivickel Dabrezil issued an international arrest warrant, which has eventually been enforced through Interpol. Arrest warrents have also been issued for: Mirlande Liberus who is currently living in the United States.

The Argentine authorities are currently in the process of cooperating with the Haitian authorities to extradite Mr. Markington Philippe to Haiti.

We Haitians do not agree on many things; however, this is something many Haitians will agree on. Haitian Politicians are in love with power. For those who may not agree with me, you don't have to go far to see to what extent our politicians would go to be in a position of power. Just take a look at any election in Haiti, you will see the number of people wanting to occupy those positions of power. During a typical presidential election in Haiti, the number of candidates can reach anywhere from 40 to 50. During a Cabinet formation or reshuffling, some people you would not expect give up their dignity, prestige or affiliations they spent years building in a matter of second just to become the next Minister or Secretary.

It is a rather sticky mess that began, perhaps, even before the 2000 murder of journalist Jean Dominique. Today, the saga continues after Judge Yvikel Dabresil accused nine people, close associates of the country's former president, Jean-Bertrand Aristide, of having, between them, silenced Dominique.

While the judge has not indicted the former president on the heels of his investigations, which was revealed by a panel of the Appeals Court, Aristide has been fingered as having ordered the act which took place at Mr. Dominique's station house, Radio Haiti Inter in Port-au-Prince. The incident had also claimed the life of a security guard for the radio station.
