Former Haitian president, Ertha Pascal Trouillot, denounces Jean-Bertrand Aristide for Conspiracy

During an interview with Valery Numa at Radio Vision 2000 this week, former Haitian president, Ertha Pascal Trouillot, was showed little reserve. She managed to give us some important facts during her government.

She was very hard on another former Haitian president. Ertha denounced a conspiracy created by former President Jean Bertrand Aristide and the Lavalas group in the objective of murdering her.

She went into some details on the Coup D'etat orchestrated by the late Roger Lafontant one January 6, 1991.

Ertha Pascal Trouillot also blamed Jean Bertrand Aristide for not taking the opportunity he had at the time to reconcile the nation with itself and at the same time bring Haiti on the path of development.

Government Commissioner Lucmane Delille does Home Visit to Jean-Bertrand Aristide

Former Haitian president Jean-Bertrand Aristide who was expected to be present today (Wednesday, January 9, 2013) to answer questions regarding complaints filed against him by former Fanmi Se Lavi residents and members of cooperatives for fraud and embezzlement did not happen quite like that.

Instead, the Government Commissioner of Port-au-Prince was the one who went to the residence of the former president.

Jean-Bertrand Aristide was interviewed by Lucmane Delille was interviewed at the comfort of his own residence in Tabarre.

Canadian government faired Jean-Bertrand Aristide return after Earthquake

In a document released recently by The Canadian Press news agency, it was announced that The Canadian government had great concerns that the Haitian population would be involved in a popular uprising and create a chaotic condition in Haiti.

Canadian government also faired that because of the confusion that follows after the earthquake, former Haitian President Jean-Bertrand Aristide would organize a return to power.

The news also revealed that the quick responce by Canada to the Haiti following the earthquake was in part driven by concerns for the stability of the Haitian government.

The real reason why Jean-Bertrand Aristide was not supposed to be in Haiti before the election

My friend, the real reason is called Election Day and five years from now. March 20 has a lot more meaning to both the International Community and Jean-Bertrand Aristide than you can begin to understand. However nobody could talk about it.

I was unable to understand why a lot of effort, energies and resources have been invested to prevent Jean-Bertrand Aristide from returning to Haiti before the election scheduled for March 20, 2011.

Jean-Bertrand Aristide and his attorney Ira Kurzban wanted us to believe that the only reason he wanted to come before the election, is because the next Haitian government might make it difficult for him to comeback. But Mr. Aristide, you could come to Haiti at any time in the week following the election because your friend Rene Preval would still be in office and would have the same power that he had before the election, and you would not have any problem

The airplane carrying Jean-Bertrand Aristide has landed in Haiti

The historic event is finally a reality. Former Haitian president Jean-Bertrand Aristide is back in Haiti after spending seven years in exile.

His airplane touched down at Toussaint L'Ouverture airport on Friday, March 18, at 9:21am.

Small change in plan, Jean-Bertrand Aristide will be in Haiti on Friday, March 18 in body and soul

Small delay in the return of Jean-Bertrand Aristide to Haiti. Dr. Maryse Narcisse just confirmed on Radio Signal FM in Port-au-Prince that Jean-Bertrand Aristide will arrive in Haiti, not on Thursday but on Friday, March 18.

According to information received by the "Haitian Joudalist", Jean-Bertrand Aristide already left South Africa to an undetermined country. From there, he will arrive in Haiti on Friday, two days before the scheduled presidential election in Haiti.

Dr. Maryse Narcisse is the official spokesperson for the Fanmi Lavalas Party in Haiti. She occupies the position of Coordinator of Fanmi Lavalas.

Jean-Bertrand Aristide is leaving South Africa on Tuesday afternoon, route unknown

An official of the South African government just reported that Former President of Haiti Jean-Bertrand Aristide is leaving his country on Thursday and heading back to Haiti. He is taking a flight from Pretoria and will be traveling with his family. The actual route has not been made public. Aristide will give a news briefing tomorrow, just before he leaves South Africa. In that news brief, he will give detail of his route to finally land in his beloved country of Haiti.

Jean-Bertrand Aristide will be in Haiti on Thursday, March 17

Contrary to what the US government would hope for, former Haitian president Jean-Bertrand Aristide is planning to return to Haiti on Thursday, March 17, three days before the March 20 election. Aristide ignores the recommendation of the US government who suggested that he waited until after Haiti election to return.

It seems that the US Government does not have that much leverage over the South African government. The United States wanted the South African government to hold Aristide there until after the election. However, according to South African Deputy Foreign Minister Marius Fransman: "It is not our responsibility to say if Jean-Bertrand Aristide should or should not leave South Africa".
